SmartData is a unique tool for locating electronic component data. It can find Data Sheets, Application Notes and other technical data for most electronic components, both current and obsolete.

The SmartData search engine is powered by search technology from USBid. It searches the web sites of Electronic Component Manufacturers, and gathers all relevant files that are published in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format, which is the most common format for internet-based Data Sheets.

SmartData then indexes the individual words within each file it finds. As a user, you can specify keywords or part numbers as search criteria. SmartData provides links back to the pdf files (on the manufacturers' web-sites) that contain those words.
